Billions of Cicadas, the new release by BlipVert (aka Will Northlich-Redmond), presents a complex and dynamic 73 minute sonic mountain of fractured drum breaks, 8-bit synth blasts, alien R&B choirs, and warm ambient soundscapes. The record consists of two distinct cycles of music, primarily influenced by the unique and compelling idiosyncrasies of the cicada. "Stridulation" attempts to symbolize the resonant power and variability of cicada singing, while "Courtship"...

The first full-length release of BETAPHENETHYLAMINE is an uncompromising 77 minutes of unrelenting abrasion and brutality interspersed with moments of bleak atmosphere and catchy songwriting in a way that is at the same time varied and natural. Digital hardcore, metal, industrial, noise and pop elements combine to create something which is none of these things. It is a dark look at the modern digital age and our ever growing relationship with technology.

Cool stuff about this CD: The only reference I have on the CD is that it was known as: 'DTRASH 4 - 1999 (promo only copy)'. Russian acidcore freak DISTONN has in the last years made a place in the D-TRASH roster for himself, either with his splits/compilations with SUBVERT PUNX members, or the legendary DISTUNDRUM, or! with his own D-TRASH sublabel BREAKPUNK but also with his DISTONN music, anarchistic vegan drum'n'breakcore styles. His "Dead Ravestar" appeared on our recent DTRASH200 "Trash The World" comp, and is a must hear.

In 2019, Canadian digital hardcore musician SCHIZOID celebrated 20 years of extreme musick with the release of new project THE SCHIZOID "Pariah", an all-black metal solo release. Those 7 songs took on themes of elemental destruction and dark psychology, inspired by CREBAIN, LEVIATHAN, XASTHUR, BLUT AUS NORD. Now, "Displaced And Altered" presents the PARIAH album's black metal furies filtered through an industrial/electro lens, rendering electroshock treatments of the tracks...

ACID ENEMA, was a sonic force to be reckoned with in the late 1990's/early 2000's speedcore and gabber scenes, being one of the first to incorporate deep black metal influences into his pounding beats. D-TRASH now releases this career retrospective disc, including AE tracks, SANGRE tracks and many unreleased songs. Compiled by and featuring acidtrip artwork from SCHIZOID.

German duo MIND DISRUPTION gives us another full-length, rumoured to be their last? - An 18!-song disc that pulses in overdriven misanthropic industrial noisebeat-metal. Guitars pin down the listener, who falls helpless to the ringing synths, shrieking grunts, and grinding suicidal thuds of rhythmic darkwave thrashings... ones that would make predecessors SKINNY PUPPY proud. BABYLON DISCO gives us his 2nd album for D-TRASH, this mini album of 8 songs. The material has a very thick late 1990's sound in tribute to to the type of collage project meets lowfi drum machine core of BOMB 20's "Field Manual", with a sprinkling of typical BD elements like melodic strings and enough obscure Simpsons references to make Jeffrey Alberton happy. With lovely artwork from Sweden's finest graphic artist Kandykore.

"The Gloomy Side Of Noisewall" is the third link in the chain of musical experiments of Eraplee Noisewall Orchestra project. Seven new tracks and one remastered demo track range from massive dubstep-influenced break beat, over hard glitchy IDM, to cold and dark ambient sounds. As the album name suggests, the music shows a new side of the E.N.O. project, spreading dark and depressive atmosphere. Our first release of 2016 is this stealthy serving of bassy dystopian breakcore/digital hardcore. DISBREAKZ is a Croatian producer who has been with team D-TRASH for a while, either releasing material on his own or heading up the SUBVERT BREAKPUNX tag-teams. A bit more darkness and less 'pop'-love shown on this, even tho his material comes with a sense of humour and fun.

Edmonton's HIMIKO has reached a point of no return on this her 4th release for D-Trash Records; We've got some really dark material here, something of brutal start/stop death metal-then-digital hardcore with her haunted "pig-squeals" that supplement the low tuned chunky sampled-core driven by the expectedly frenetic jagged gabber beats and breaks. Less of a direction change than DethNoizzz (compared to Fuck Off), and moreso a zooming in of what made the former so crushing.
